As someone who used to spend a lot of time in London, I can’t wait until traveling by train into Central becomes safe again. For me, it might end up being a while before I start doing day trips into London. Even once lockdown is over. But until then I can always plan what I want to do with the help of my London Bucket List.
Go Ape
Now I know this one isn’t exactly London based but the ones I’d go to technically seem to count as London. So this is why it’s on my London Bucket List. I’ve said for quite a few years now that I’d try out Go Ape but I’ve never been. Although my fitness levels aren’t great at the moment so maybe I should work on those first. Especially my body strength!
I think this is likely to be one that needs to wait until the nicer weather next year.
London Bucket List- Kew Gardens
Now I’ve been to Kew Gardens once but it was during their Christmas night time light experience. So I’ve not experienced it in it’s full glory which is why it features on my London Bucket List. I’d love to head here when most of the flowers are in bloom and see it in all it’s glory.
Again this is probably another one which may need to roll over into next Springtime now.
Tower Bridge Experience
This is one I can probably tick off before the year ends and that’s the Tower Bridge Experience. I’ve tried to head here a few times but it’s been too busy or fully booked. I’ve done a lot of the typical tourist things in London but this one I haven’t. I’d love to see the views from the Bridge and I can’t wait to walk across the glass floor. Plus learn all about the most famous bridge in London.
London Bucket List- Walking movie tour
So many amazing movies have been filmed in London and I’d love to do a tour of them. There’s a 2 and a half hour walking tour which looks really good and I’m sure I’d see parts of London I’d never been to before. I don’t want to book this quite yet as I’m not sure when things like this will be operating again, but potentially in September time. I can hope right?!
Get a bubblewrapwaffle
You’ve probably seen so many photos of people holding up waffles in China Town. The shop in China Town always has long queues so I’ve avoided it before. But next time I’m in London and it’s dry (and maybe warmish) I want to grab one. They look great, but they also sound incredibly yummy. Who doesn’t love a waffle with ice cream and toppings inside?!
London bucket list: Have breakfast or afternoon tea at Sketch
Sketch is one of those places which is very indulgent. I’m talking about the fancy toilets and the pink room which looks amazing. The afternoon tea looks really good for a special occasion, but the breakfast/ brunch menu also looks great. This would be more of a special occasion treat, so potentially for my birthday in January?!
